Decisions Required
from the Board

With board approval, the UK division can be operational and generating revenue within 12–16 weeks of the decision date. The following five decisions are required to proceed.

Approve the Hybrid DTC & B2B model as the UK market entry strategy. Year 1 budget: £85,000–£120,000 at minimum viable scale.

Confirm Inventory Supply Model
Confirm consignment vs. transfer pricing model for the UK entity. Consignment is recommended for Year 1 to minimise UK capital risk.

Confirm Matrix-Covered Costs
Confirm which items Portugal will cover: brand assets, UKCA compliance, scientific documentation, training content development.

Authorise Lisbon Immersion Programme
Authorise the 3-day Lisbon immersion for the UK founding team (2–3 people). Estimated cost: £2,000–£3,500. This is non-negotiable for launch quality.

Agree Reporting Structure & KPI Review Cadence
Agree on the reporting structure (UK Country Manager → Board Portugal), monthly P&L reporting format, quarterly board presentation schedule, and real-time KPI dashboard access for the Portugal board.
